Jimmie Dewitt Riley was born on December 26, 1935 to Howard Riley and Gertrude (Hicks) Riley. He was born in the home in Skidmore, Missouri. Baptized at the first Christian Church of Tarkio, Missouri on August 8th, 1957. He graduated from High School in Tarkio, Missouri. He was very active in the Music Department.
