Jimmie “Sue” Brown, age 87, passed away on February 14, 2021, in her home in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 04, 1933.
Sue was married to Fred R. Brown on January 06, 1951, in Fort Worth. They enjoyed 68 years of marriage before his passing. Occupations for Sue through the years were homemaker, traveler, and farmer. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Springfield and enjoyed the fellowship there.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, her husband Fred R. Brown, and her daughter Susan Ann Brown Sikes.
Surviving Sue are her son, Freddie Ray Brown; a beloved son-in-law, B. Farel Sikes; four grandchildren: Jason Sikes, Tracy Strickland, David B. Sikes, and Sarah McCarty; nine great-grandchildren: Kaylee McConnell, Kersten Harris, Kathrine Strickland, Nathan Sikes, Olivia Sikes, Abigail Sikes, Megan Sikes, Dakoda McCarty, and Susanann Marie McCarty; a host of nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law: James (Erma) Brown and Carroll (Anne) Brown; and many friends.
