Jimmy Dale “Catfish” Andrus , age 82, of Marshfield, Mo. passed away on May 4, 2019, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mo. He was born on July 4, 1936, in Oto, Stone County, Mo. to Lawson and Rebecca (Disheroon) Andrus. Mr. Andrus was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His occupation prior to retirement was a truck driver.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mitzi (Waters) Andrus, of the home, in Marshfield, Mo; two sons, Donald (and Teresa) Andrus of Battlefield, Mo. and Darrell Andrus, of Aurora, Mo; one brother, Billy Dee Andrus of Cantil, Ca. one sister, Peggy Moore of Springfield, Mo. three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 West State Highway EE, Springfield, Mo. Pastor Tony Combs will be officiating. Military Honors will be provided. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North prior to the graveside service.
Services are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North, 3506 North National Avenue, Springfield, Mo.
