Joyce A. Kehtel, age 76, of Springfield, MO passed away on October 19, 2015. She was born on June 21, 1939, in Springfield to her parents John Paul and Margaret Elizabeth (Tannehill) Hicks. She was a member of Galloway Full Gospel Church for many years. She married Richard D. Kehtel on June 11, 1968 in Lousianna, and they worked side by side as Co-owners of Southern Engineering, retiring in 2005. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Jerry Hicks. Joyce is survived by her sisters, Barbara Woodmansee (Jim) of Bolivar, Marsha Howard of Springfield, brothers, Michael Hicks (Freda) of Pleasant Hope, Johnny Hicks of Springfield and Kip Hicks (Marlene) of Strafford, several nieces and nephews and close friends, Theresa and Richard Smith.
Visitation for Joyce will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm in Galloway Full Gospel Church, 3357 W. Farm Road 146 Springfield, MO 65807, with the burial following in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
