Joyce Marilyn (Comstock)Hensley, 84 of Morrisville, passed away on Sunday July 13, 2025.
Joyce was born on October 11, 1940 to Felix and Murline Comstock.
Joyce graduated from Strafford High School. She went on to become an Elementary teacher and taught at Weaver and Watkins Elementary in Springfield.
Joyce is survived by her husband Lloyd Hensley of 67 years. She is also survived by her sons,Brent (Sherry)Hensley, Strafford and Marty (Brady Samson) Hensley, Lawrence, Ks. Granddaughters Heather (fiancé Joe Robinette), Strafford and Emily (Clyde)Pratt, Springfield. Great-grandchildren Parker and Hailey.
The family would like to send a special Thank You to the staff of Compassus Hospice and Springfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for their care and compassion showed toward Joyce and her family.
Joyce’s final wishes were to have a private burial.
Joyce will always be remembered for loving to spend time with her family, going to auctions and flea markets, and especially her love for cats and dogs.
