Judi Ann Stanley
Judi, of Springfield traveled peacefully to Heaven on Christmas Day, December 25, 2019, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Judi is now with her son Shane, as Shane was in Heaven waiting on Judi to join him. Judi was born May 26, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Central High School, Springfield Missouri. Judi worked in the Limousine Building Industry as Quality Control Inspector with Executive Coach Builders. She was very valuable in assuring finished Limousines were in exceptional condition upon completion.
Judi’s favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved decorating, including making arts & crafts which were very creative and high quality. Judi had a spectacular green thumb and loved gardening, especially growing roses. She also loved her pets very much, including dogs Mutley, Tigger, Boomer, & Heidi. Most of All, Judi loved being with her family and was extremely proud of her children & grandkids. This lady was a great mom not only to her kids, but many other kids over the years considered Judi their mom as well. Judi treated everyone Special! Judi has blessed so many people and been a great influence to her countless friends and family.
Judi was preceded in death by her son, Shane Stanley and mother, Rose Cottrill.
Judi is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Larry; daughter Terry Arkin and husband Randy, The Villages, Florida; daughter Sheri Cortez and Jesse, Springfield, Missouri; granddaughters Cheri Byrom, Springfield, Missouri; Shalyn Brinker, Springfield, Missouri; Ally Haynes and husband Alfred, Ozark, Missouri; grandsons Ryan Ahart and Hannah, Springfield, Missouri; Austen Arkin, Fort Hood, Texas; great granddaughters Zoey Brinker, Springfield, Missouri; Ty-Lee Haynes, Ozark, Missouri; Arielle Nordskog, Springfield, Missouri; Evie Arkin, Fort Hood, Texas; Alea Haynes, Ozark, Missouri; Envie Marie Arkin, Fort Hood, Texas; great grandson Abryn Brinker, Springfield, Missouri; sister Sharon Morton and husband Bill, Elmore, Alabama; brother David and wife Marcie, Springfield, Missouri.
Celebration of Life will be from 3pm to 5pm Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 East Seminole, Springfield, Missouri 65809.
