Julia (Chris) Christina Whitman, age 42, of Springfield , MO, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in her home. She was born May 26, 1973, in Springfield, MO, to Donald and Wanda Cummins. She attended East Grand Church Of The Nazarine in her youth. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Education, from Drury University. Julia is survived by her husband; Timothy Lynn Whitman Sr.; her son, T J Whitman and girl friend; Katelyn Beeson; daughter; Samantha and son-in-law Brandon Davis, and god-daughter Macy Layne, her parents; Don and Wanda Cummins and brother Ricky Travis and paternal grandmother Birdie Cummins and maternal-step-grandfather; Bert Brickey and her soul-sister; Angel Cocanougher, and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery Springfield, MO.
