Kane Cartier Mckinzie, 5 day old infant son of Keon Cornell Mckinzie and Dameisha Sheane Newlon, passed away on November 13, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Kane was born on November 8, 2022, at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Mo.
Kane is also survived by his sister: Kaylani Mckinzie, his two brothers; Kahlil Williams and Kash Mckinzie, his two grandmothers: Treanett Staples, and Nancy Newlon, his two grandfathers: Jamie Clark and Brandon Harris. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by two great-grandmothers: Ruth Clark and Glenda Newlon, and two great-grand-fathers: Harold White and James Newlon.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before services, from noon to 1:00 p.m.
