Karen Elaine Jackson was born April 12, 1949 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Elbert Franklin Jordan and Syble Estelle Pitts. Karen went to her true home in Heaven with JESUS, Monday, January 13, 2020 in Branson, Missouri. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Gregory Shepherd. Karen married Miles David Jackson on February 15, 2001. Karen had one son born to her and her first husband, Gregory Shepherd, who resides in Dallas, Texas. Between Miles and Karen they have six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Karen has one brother, Larry Jordan and three nieces all who live in the greater Dallas area. Miles and Karen lived in Pointe Royale Golf Community in Branson, Missouri. For 35 years, Karen was a professional media director, planner and buyer for several major advertising agencies in Dallas, Texas, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Karen and Miles owned a manufacturing and distribution company in Russellville, Arkansas and traveled extensively on business and pleasure throughout the United States and 27 countries. There will be a Going Home Celebration for Karen at New Life Temple, on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Karen would be honored with your presence.
