Kathryn Jean (Kathy) Thompson, 63, Springfield, MO. passed away January 4, 2020, surrounded by friends and family. She was born on June 25, 1956, in Springfield, MO. to William and Norma (Brown) Barnett. She was a retired dietitian for Citizens Memorial Hospital. A life-long area resident, she grew up at Northside Assembly Of God Church.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her father, William Barnett and her grandmother, Lydia Brown, she is survived by her daughters; Crystal Overmyer and her husband, Tim and Lydia Foust and her husband, Sam, her mother, Norma Jean Barnett, her brother, Mark Barnett and his wife, Josie, her grandchildren: Lacy Browers and Tyler Thompson and Garrett Eagle, her great-grandchildren: Kiah Browers and Elijah Browers.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2020, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. No services or burial are planned.
