Kay Lynn Gamel 81, Springfield, MO. passed away December 30, 2020, in Springfield, Mo. She was born on October 1, 1939, in Bolivar, MO. to Warren and Ina (Ruckman) Hogan. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, working in various Nursing Homes. She was also active in the Brighton, Baptist Church and the Women’s Missionary Union. Kay enjoyed playing and teaching the Piano, She also loved to sing. She loved Country and Blue Grass Music, attending many Festivals when she could.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ralph Gamel Jr. She is survived by her three sons: Randy Medler (Gene), Jeff Gamel (Gwen) and Robert Gamel, she is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Private burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near Bolivar.
