Keith W. Gayer, age 82, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Willard Care Center. He was born March 4, 1927 in Miller, Mo., to Lem and Elsie (Adcock) Gayer. He was a member of Miller Christian Church. Keith was an Army veteran serving during World War II. His wife, Mabel Gayer and parents, Lem and Elsie Gayer, preceded him in death. He is survived by his two sons, Larry Gayer and wife Connie of Springfield, Gene Gayer and wife Judy of Miller, Mo.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth and James Gayer; and one sister, Betty Tunnell. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2009 6 to 8 p.m. in Greenlawn North Funeral Home.
