Keri Sharese Morris went to be with Jesus at the age of 45 at her home located in Ozark, Missouri. Sharese was born in Springfield, Missouri in January of 1975, to Michael William Morris and Linda Jo (Fitzpatrick) Morris.

Sharese is survived by her daughter Kylie Nicole Box and son-in-law, Joshua Bradley Box; son, Austin Patrick Looney, grandchildren, Kylan Christopher Looney and Hazel Nicks Crowder; parents, Michael William and Linda Jo Morris; grandmother, Ava Jean Morris; brother, Chad Michael Morris, and spouse, Candice Amber Morris; nephew, Brayden Michael Morris, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sharese accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 7. She was a part of God’s Angels singing group throughout elementary and junior high years, and then their high school choir at Rolling Hills Baptist Church. Sharese also participated in cheerleading and dance at Kickapoo High School, where she graduated in 1993. Sharese married and raised two beautiful children. She loved to go to the ocean and the lake for the peaceful solitude. Somehow, she loved to fish, along with many other family members. Sharese later divorced and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to be close to her love for Nascar #48. Sharese also loved the Kansas City Chiefs, and she finally got her SuperBowl win. Recently, she returned to the Springfield area to be close to her children and grandchildren. Sharese was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her third grandchild, Brenlynn Faith Box, due May 24th, 2020. Over the last 20 years, Sharese loved attending James River Church. One of her favorite studies was the book of Revelation. She just recently spoke of her belief that the Lord was returning soon. On April 9th she had journaled, “WHEN YOU TRULY BELIEVE GOD…IT CHANGES EVERYTHING!” All of those who loved Sharese will miss her tremendously. We rejoice knowing that she is walking streets of gold with the Lord – we can only imagine her face when she first saw Jesus!

Sharese will be laid to rest on May 4th, following a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Greenlawn North on National Avenue in Springfield, Missouri. Pastor John Lindell will officiate the service. Friends and family are welcome. We ask that due to the Coronavirus pandemic those in attendance, please practice social distancing guidelines and maintain 6 ft. separation between families. Some people may choose to stay in their vehicles. Only 15 family members will be allowed under the tent. We appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe as we honor Sharese’s life.
