I have known Larry for several years. When I accepted a position as a bailiff in circuit court, he was my go to person. He was so knowledgeable and always willing to help with anything I needed. Our courtrooms were next to each other so I would see him every day in the hallway behind our courtrooms. Every day Larry would say "Good morning Dave, how are you?" I am going to miss that. I am going to miss being able to reach out and ask him questions about how to do something or where to find something. He seemed to know everything! I truly feel blessed for getting to know him.

From the time that I first met Larry, I knew that he was a Christ follower. Larry trained me as a bailiff to serve the judges in the 31 Judicial Circut of Greene Court System. Larry served Circuit Judge Jason Brown until Judge Brown retired. Larry set the standard for excellence and was kindly referred to a our “Head Bailiff.” The knowledge of criminal law , judicial procedure and communication ability associated with Justices, Lawyers, court clerks, and the Sheriff of Greene County was immeasurable. Larry will be missed. But we meet again in our heavenly home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Well done Larry !
Bill Andreatta left a message on January 24, 2025:
Larry was a dear friend since I came to work at the courthouse. He was a wealth of knowledge and could always direct me on how to make the courtroom run smoothly. I truly enjoyed always visiting with him early in the morning before we started our day. He will be missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I had the pleasure of working with Larry occasionally when he would act as bailiff in my courtroom. He was always so pleasant and made the hard work of family court just a little better with his presence. So very sorry for your loss.

Terry Hoggard left a message on January 20, 2025:
I had the great honor of sharing my Bible school years with Larry. It seems that our desire to prepare our lives for ministry compelled us to find our way to Central Bible College. It became abundantly clear that Larry would be a part of my inner circle. We both wanted to work and we both found favor from Paul Ecker. Larry was hard-working, always willing to do what was needed and quick to serve others. It was his commitment and compassion that enabled him to develop a unique capacity that would serve him well in life. Larry was ever faithful to God, his family, and friends. It is his faith and faithfulness that we will forever hold dear. Larry is now in his heavenly home, and he will also forever be in our hearts. - Terry & Ruthanne Hoggard
