Leila M. Williams, age 89, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on December 1, 2020. She was born in Mynard, Nebraska, on September 27, 1931, to Roy and Ruth Clark. She received her GED in 1981, Plattsmouth, Nebraska. She was employed as a realtor, contractor, and lifelong homemaker. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Williams on August 21, 1948. She was also a Christian. She worked as a seamstress specializing in women’s formalwear. In later years, she enjoyed making decorated handbags and totes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Williams; son, Kenneth L. Williams; parents, Roy and Ruth Clark; sister, Virgie Kindall; and brother, Norman Clark. She is survived by her children DonEva Maybee, Valerie Wheeler (Paul), Brad Williams (Evelyn), and Cherri Jennngs; 9 grandchildren, Mark Manna, James Manna, Robert Wheeler, Timothy Wheeler, Jonathan Williams, Diana Williams, Susan Williams, Scott Patton, and Shawn Patton; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and family in the Plattsmouth area.
There will be a memorial service in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, at a date to be determined. Her burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
