Leora Ruth Driver, 89, of Springfield, Missouri passed away in her home on Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born on December 11, 1925 in Enid, Oklahoma. She was preceeded in death by her parents Fred and Freda Heitfeld, her sister Malinda Hansen, and granddaughter Kori Driver. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Alva, and daughter Carol Ward and sons Gary and John Driver. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and made many church banners for 37 years. She was also a cub scout leader in the church. She was an avid lover of books and instilled the love of reading in her children and grandchildren. She loved to play the organ and was taking lessons until her 89th birthday. She loved all of nature, rescued many pets, and working in her garden. She also had many friends at the Chesterfield Family Center.

Brockman, Dr. Cherla, Oxford Heath Care, and Seasons Hospice for all their support and care.
Visitation will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6-8 pm and services will be on Wednesday March 11 at 11 :00 am at Redeemer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Redeemer Lutheran school.
