Linda “Gail” Baker (Davis), passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4th, 2020. Gail was born on February 17th, 1948 to Morris and Myrl (Shownes) Davis in Leachville, Arkansas.
Gail spent many years as a professional over the road truck driver. In her retirement, she devoted her time ministering through music and song to the elderly. She was an active member of Calvary Christian Assembly of God, loved to sing, and blessed many with her beautiful voice. Gail had the ability to positively impact everyone she met, and will be greatly missed by many.
Gail is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Baker, her parents, two brothers, Morris Lynn and Leslie Joe, and a nephew, Charles Scott. She leaves behind two brothers, Don Davis and his wife Sharon, and Dennis Davis and his wife Sherry, and one sister, Barbara Reneer and her husband Russell. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation is being held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. The funeral service will be held at Calvary Christian Assembly of God Church in Springfield, Missouri on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Robberson Prairie Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Calvary Christian Assembly of God Church building fund in Gail's name.
