Linda Louise 76, Springfield, Mo. passed away June 26, 2019. She was born in Springfield, Mo. on September 20, 1942, to Loren Harvey and Wandah Marie (Tharp) Burns. Linda was a retired school bus driver and driver trainer, for Springfield Public Schools. She was a long-time member of National Heights Baptist Church. She loved butterflys and spending time with her family.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her parents, a step-daughter, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter: Melinda Marie Klopfer, three sons: James Arthur Frieze III and his wife Susie, Rex Loren Frieze and his wife Robin, and Ronald D. Frieze, two step-daughters: Vicki Johnson and Patti, two sisters: Brenda Morris and Mary Wise, 13 grandchildren and 14-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019, with burial to follow, in Brighton cemetery, Brighton, Mo. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
