Linda Sue Wilson Sink, 65, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Magnolia Square in Springfield, Missouri. She was born into this world on April 30, 1950 in Kansas City, MO. to Charles Alfred Buce and Lydia McCrattic Buce, also known as “Nannie” by all of those who loved her. Linda worked many jobs serving others as she had a heart of gold. She worked in the Home Health field before having to give that up for health reasons. She touched many lives before her health began to fail due to many illnesses. Linda loved her children and grandchildren, as well as her 2 new great-grandchildren. She was married to Darrell Wilson on September 16, 1967 in Noel, MO. Darrell passed away on June 29, 1946. To this union 3 children were born; Charles, Tanya, and Lori. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and twin siblings, Charles Ray, who received a Purple Heart and Silver Star from the Army during WWII, Lydia Mae, and sister, Nancy Elizabeth, also known as “Tootsie,” and brother; Clarence Buce of Deepwater, MO.
Linda is survived by her 3 children; Charles Wilson of Lamar, MO, Tanya Kinney of Mount Vernon, MO., and her 2 children, Caleb and Hunter, Lori and husband Brad Eagleburger, and their children; Dakota, (Brooke) Nacoma (Brandon) and Kord Eagleburger. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Cheyanne Cline of Buffalo, MO., and 2 great-grandchildren; Emma (13 months old) and Rhyken (6 days old). Linda is survived by 3 sisters; Leona Hankins, also known as “corky” of Billings, MO., Tena Roberts of Highlandville, MO., and Dawn Buce of Eden, North Carolina. Linda was loved by all and will be deeply missed. She loved spending time with her great-granddaughter, Emma, whom she referred to as “Little Miss America. She only got to see her great-grandson, Rhyken, once before she departed this earth. She is survived by many other family members and friends who will love and miss her dearly. She was so proud of her children.
Linda was also married to Charles Sink, who preceeded her in death on January 7, 2000. Linda and Charles were married several years and raised their family in Rogersville, MO. for many years. Linda and Charles took several trips throughout their marriage. Family and friends will gather at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Sunday, February 28, 2016, 6:00-8:00pm to celebrate her life.
