She loved playing games and working puzzles with her friends in independent living. She also enjoyed attending church services at Maranatha Chapel.
Lula is survived by her daughter, Marilyn; seven grandchildren: Gregg Tripp, Bryan Russell, Angela Benson, Allyson George, Kim Bradford, Roy Clark and Carina Merrill; three cousins: Patsy Klinkerman, Tom O’Neal, and Jennifer Holden. Also preceding Lula in death were her mother and father, son, Stanley and a grandson, Kirk Tripp. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff at Maranatha for the great care she received. She formed many special friendships while she was there. Also, a special thanks to Taryn with Integrity Hospice at Mercy Hospital.
