Lydia Kay Morris was the third child born to Edward and Eula Planchon on January 31, 1952, in Springfield, Missouri. Kay passed from this life on the morning of July 15, 2019 after a long illness.
Kay's work life consisted of working for Git n Go (Kum & Go) and The Flower Merchant. In each job co workers became family.
Kay enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spending time at the lake, shopping at Wal Mart and the Dollar Tree and going to the casino.
Kay was fierce (hard headed) in all she did. Her work ethic, how she wanted her yard, how she loved her family. As her health failed, she remained fierce and fought to the end.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eddie of 48 years and a granddaughter.
She is loved and missed by her sister Beverly Wilson; her son John and his girlfriend Keli Jones; daughter Lorie Houghton and husband Chris; adopted son Aaron Wyatt and his husband Brad Buchanon and her dog Libby Sue.
