Marian enjoyed many years of bowling and exercising at The Meyer Center, treasuring the many friends she made along the way.
She was married 75 years to Roscoe Charles Self who preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Arthur (P.J.), Sue Ann Covington, Jeannine Elliott (Robert), seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She lovingly shared her favorite chair with her dog Prissy. For many years she was a member of First Baptist Church, Springfield, MO. She was preceded in death by Roscoe, one brother and one sister, and great grandson Austin Hayes.
Visitation will be held on 2/23/2021 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a graveside service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Greenlawn South, Springfield, MO.
The family wishes to express their thanks to Pamela and Debbie with Phoenix Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Missions Fund” at First Baptist Church, Springfield, MO.
