Mary Ethel Cavin-Cecil
Mary Cecil, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Annie Isabelle Bozarth, was born on June 8, 1927, in Ripley County, Missouri, and died on August 28, 2009. She was a homemaker and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, John Cavin and Art Cecil; her son, Donald Cavin; her twin sister, Etta Nettles; and two brothers. She is survived by one son, Gary Cavin; two daughters, Norma Moses and Sherry Chittenden and husband, Ted, Springfield, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clay Bozarth and wife, Wanda, and Everett Bozarth and wife, Doris Lee; four sisters, Anna Sue Watson and husband, Neldon, Abilene, Texas, Laura Jane Hodge and husband, Troy, Maynard, Ark., Luciell White, Maynard, Ark., and Aletta Bell Essary and husband, Guyal, Rogersville, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, August 31, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2009, in the funeral home, with Rev. B.J. Chapman and Rev. Bob Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Springfield National Cemetery.
