Mary Elizabeth Henrichs was born November 20, 1920 to Walter and Kelsie Alley of Oak Grove, MO. Mary was one of seven children. She was married to Dean Henrichs for 46 years until he died in 1986. Dean and Mary moved to Springfield in 1980. She is survived by two sons and their wives: Richard and Chris of Boulder, CO and Randy and Gail of Springfield, MO. Her brothers and sisters preceded her in death: Faye, WD, Loren, Gene, Dorothy, and John. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was a homemaker and found great joy in volunteering. She volunteered at the Cox South gift shop for 16 years. She also visited those in nursing homes and those in the hospital. She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be on Monday, March 28, 2016, at 7:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Fair Haven Children’s Home.
