Mary Sue (Burney) Hansen, 69, passed away August 5, 2009, in Springfield, Mo. She was born on March 11, 1940, to Dorr and Grace (Clift) Burney, in Webster County, Mo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Clift; father Dorr Burney; and brothers, Ralph Burney, Elvin “Shorty” Burney and James Burney. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Jesse Burney, Faye Hyder, Joe Burney, Brenda Cravens and Linda Currier. She is also survived by her five children, Mike Burney, Mattheu Hansen, Charlotte Lundquist, Samuel Hansen and Shiela Hansen; seven grandchildren, April Gould, Aimee Piller, Mattheu Hansen Jr., Ashlee Hansen, Jordan Lundquist, Pierce Hansen and Miller Hansen; two great-grandchildren, Zhara and Alyssa Gould; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2009, with graveside services at 10 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home.
