Maurine Louise (O’Connell) Orth, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2023. She was born in Creston, Iowa to Martin and Mary (Tracy) O’Connell on September 29, 1926. She retired from St. John’s (Mercy) hospital. She loved to cook, sew, quilt and eating desserts! Maurine Louise (O’Connell) Orth, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2023. She was born in Creston, Iowa to Martin and Mary (Tracy) O’Connell on September 29, 1926. She retired from St. John’s (Mercy) hospital. She loved to cook, sew, quilt and eating desserts! She loved her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids, they always made her smile. She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Paul Orth, and a granddaughter Jenny. Survivors include daughters Linda and her husband (Dan) Lindsey, and Lynn and her husband (Jay) Loveland, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
The family requests donations to be made to Country Living Assisted Living 2820 North Main, Mountain Grove, MO 65711. Graveside services will be at a later date.
