Max W. Weaver, 83, Springfield, MO, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019, after a short illness. Max was born in Lebanon, MO, on July 27, 1936 to Ervin and Mary (Warren) Weaver. He attended high school in Duenweg, MO, graduating in 1954 and was a member of the United States Army Reserves until honorably discharged in 1964. He started working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1955, retiring after 36 years of employment in 1991.
Max is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, a son and daughter, their spouses and four grandchildren, two brothers and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was member of Glendale Christian Church since 1976 and volunteered countless hours for the church. He enjoyed many, many days of golfing, tennis, bowling, traveling on whirlwind vacations with his wife, and getting into mischief with his grandkids.
No services or burial are planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North. The family has asked that any memorial donations made on his behalf be forwarded to Glendale Christian Church, Springfield, MO
