We are heartbroken to announce the death of Michael Bradley Claxton, 65, of Springfield, MO. Born November 10th 1956. He left this world suddenly on May 9th 2022 at home. He was predeceased by his father, John Claxton, his Mother, Forestine ‘Frosty’ Claxton and his brother, Jeffrey Claxton. Michael was blessed with a large and loving family. He has left behind two loving brother’s, Loren and Reid who will miss him dearly. United in marriage on June 4th 1982 to Dana Lynn ‘Weiser’ Claxton. He is survived by his wife, Dana and their two children, Kendra and Matthew Claxton, along with his six grandchildren, Kasandra, Alexis, Sarah, Zooey, Charlotte and Johnathan Claxton.
He graduated from Glendale high school in 1974. He worked as a Service Advisor for 25 years and loved to help people with their automotive needs. He spent the last of his years loving what he does best, cutting wood with the help of his wife, children and grandchildren with his Blue Tractor and Red Dog.
His services will be held on Sunday May 15th at Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by the funeral at Claxton Cemetery in Competition, MO at 4:00pm
