Michael Edmond Freeman passed away at his home in Fair Grove MO on Saturday August 6th, 2022. Michael was born in Louisville Kentucky to Keith and Angie Freeman on December 19th, 1991.
He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2010 and worked as an HVAC Technician for 5 years at Larson’s Heating and Air in Nixa MO.
He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart and best friend Kendra Freeman (Zahn) on May 24th, 2014 in Fordland MO. They shared 12 and a half amazing years together as well as 3 beautiful daughters. The family attended Northside Christian Church in Springfield MO.
Michael loved with intensity. Kendra and his 3 beautiful girls were the center of his world. The love that radiated off of him when he was with his 4 girls, was contagious. Family was incredibly important to him and he showed it. His favorite thing to do with them was to take them camping and spend time outdoors. As well as make sure they all grew to love Kentucky Basketball as much as him. From his parents, to his sister, to his in-laws, to his nieces and nephews to all his surrounding family and friends, he loved deeply.
Throughout his life he strived to be the best husband, father, brother, son, and friend to those around him and he truly was. He made us feel a love that is rare.
While growing up, Michael loved going fishing with his Papa each summer, antagonizing his sister (oh wait, she did that to him), trying to beat his dad in basketball (dad always had that “grown man strength” on him), and playing sports, especially soccer. He was a great athlete, student, and friend.
He went to college on a soccer scholarship to Central Methodist University until he decided his time was better spent being close to his high school sweetheart. They soon got married at the age of 22 (Michael) and 20 (Kendra). Their life together was something rare and beautiful. They grew up together hand in hand and loved each others families as their own.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandfathers Bruce Allison and Harvey Ross.
Michael is survived by his wife Kendra, three daughters, Darby Joann, Briar Kate Emanuela and Audrey Fern. His parents Keith and Angie Freeman, his Father and Mother in law Eric and Shana Zahn, A sister Erin and husband Ryan Lee as well as their children Nora and Nolan, Brother and Sister in law Zach and Mandy Miller and their children Colton, Addy and Sam, Brother and Sister in Law Ben and Krista Miller and their children Cheyenne, Madilynn, Adam, Jayden and James, Brother in law Karl Zahn and best friend Jordan Smallwood, his wife Mikayla and baby Tinlee on the way.
