Michael Ralph Jones was reunited with his beloved family and entered his eternal home on September 26th, with his son at his side.
For those that knew Mike, you know he was a man of many faces and wore many hats. He wasn’t big on small talk, but when he did- it was always great. He was a Drury Alumni with a master’s in psychology. He later when on to sell insurance. Finally, ending his career in the trucking industry.
Mike was so proud of his son and all they achieved together. We know he had many reasons to be here a little longer, but his call to go home was greater. Now he has endless roads to drive, lots of love and laughter to be had with his favorite people, and hopefully a few of his favorite food and drinks.
He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Jones, mother Hattie Lorance, and his stepfather Dean Lorance, and his brother Marty Lorance.
He is survived by his son Beau Jones and wife Taylor Jones, sister-in-law Melanie Lorance, niece Claire Andrews and husband Ryan Andrews, and his two beautiful great-nieces, Zoe and Avery.
Graveside services for Michael Ralph Jones will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday October 3, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
