Michelle Rene Grubbs, age 42 passed from this life to the next on November 5, 2019 in Ashland, Oregon. She was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, Stage 4 brain tumor in 2012, and fought for almost 6 years. Michelle was born on March 1 1977, Bellevue, Nebraska, to John and Betty Grubbs. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, John R. Grubbs. She is survived by her husband, Zerach, her mother, Betty, her brother, Michael, and sister, Mary. She also is survived by her precious children, Christopher, Nali, and Nakoah , and one grandson, Kolby as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Everyone who met Michelle can attest to her love for laughter, music, and art. She dearly loved painting, sculpting, sketching and gardening and getting her hands in the earth. Her family and friends will forever have fond memories of her love of Joni Mitchell music, vegetarian food, impromptu dancing and singing around a campfire. She loved being a mom the most. They were her whole world. She will be forever missed and she truly believed that we would see each other again in heaven. Michelle's remains will be placed in a columbarium at Greenlawn North Cemetery, Springfield, Mo. A memorial is planned for March 2020 and details will be posted on Facebook.
