Mildred Ann Ruggles Grate was gathered into the arms of her loved ones on September 13, 2021. Born in Fairfield, Iowa on the 29th of October, 1935, she spent most of her early years with her family living on farms. When she was 14 her family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. She lived here until she met her husband, Charles Monroe Grate Jr., of Blessed Memory. Mildred and Charles raised three children together: Steven Charles (Richard Landahl), Brenda Sue (Randy Wake) Wake, and Lisa Ann Grate Brint. She is survived by all three of her children as well as six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. May all who mourn be comforted.
