Morris Rose, age 79, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at St. John’s Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1930, in Long Lane, Mo, to Harvey Winton and Ada Augusta (Swift) Rose. He is a member of Faith Baptist Church.Mr Rose retired from Hiland Dairy after 23 years, he later worked at Ye Ole Buggy Bath for 18 years. He was an Korean Conflict Army Veteran, and was a member of the Teamsters.
His Parents Harvey Winton and Ada Augusta Rose, Daughter Melody Rose Kloppenburg precede him in death.
He is survived by his Wife Mavis Rose Rose of Springfield, MO.,Daughter Melissa Rose Gargiulo of Springfield, Missouri, Five Grandchildren Sarah , Andrew, and Hannah Kloppenburg, Maria and Daniela Gargiulo, and a foster son Bill Reeves of Springfield Missouri, one Brother Bill Rose of Conway, Missouri.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Rev. Fred Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 2, 2009, 2-4 p.m. in the funeral home. Friends and family may sign a guest book or send private condolences at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
