Matthew was proud to have been born in San Antonio, Texas. He was a beloved family member and friend. He was creative, intelligent, friendly and fun-loving. Matt had an adventurous spirit and a great sense of humor. He had been taking classes to finish up his business degree and working retail these past years in Branson and Springfield, Missouri.
He loved his family, his fiancé Kristina, their sweet dog Dexter and good times with friends. Matt also thoroughly enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitar, working out, traveling, golfing and sports. Matt’s quick wit and big smile are already greatly missed!
He is survived by his parents, Ann and Mark Greaver, fiance, Kristina Vilayluck, sister, Laura Greaver, brother, Scott Greaver, aunts Martha Morrill, Glenda Graves, uncle Steve Morrill and wife, Pam, cousins Ben Morrill and Sarah Notestine. Also, great aunts and uncles Deborah and Byron Morrill, Loral I and Chuck Delaney, Glenda and Keith Bowman, extended family across the U.S. and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Morlee and George Morrill, Diane and Bill Greaver, cousin Grant Graves and uncle Mike Graves.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to H.O.P.E. Group STL, Attitudinal Healing STL, or a favorite charity of your choice.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, when family and friends can be together to celebrate Matt’s life. As Matt would say, “Go Spurs”!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
