Myria Francis Hart, born Myria Francis Sims, 79, of Springfield, Missouri, went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 19, 2021. Myria was born on May 25, 1942, in Wright County, Missouri to Chester and Lena Sims.
Myria graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1960. Several years later, she married and helped raise three children, residing most of those years in the Kansas City area. She later relocated to Springfield, Missouri. Myria worked a variety of jobs, including Daisy, Faith Village, and later Safety Council of the Ozarks and Parkview High School. Myria loved spending time with her family and was an avid reader. If there was a book available, she was reading it! She loved to laugh and was known for her quick-witted comments. She was a member of Hamlin Baptist Church for many years.
Myria was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Lena Sims; and her sisters Faye Holden, Glenda Hays, and Carlene Bischoff. She was survived by her devoted sister, Carol Kleier, and her loving daughter Candy Schoenberger and sons Mike Hart and Robert Hart. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffrey Schoenberger, Spencer and Brayden Hart, and Clare Cook. Myria was blessed with two great-grandchildren, Zachary Schoenberger, whom she adored and was her special buddy, and Adeline Hart.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on October 22, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations to be made to Regional Hospice or your local public library.
