Mrs. Weber was also my Kindergarten teach at Willard North. I will never forget the first day I walked into her class. She knew how to calm fears and bring comfort to small children in a way that seemed as simple as breathing. She loved the dinosaur unit and I still have the little purple dino eraser she gave me. She knew how to make us feel special. God blessed me with her as a teacher. To her family, thank you for sharing her with so many generations of kids.

Mrs. Weber was my kindergarten teacher. I will never forget the wonderful times I had in her classroom. Throughout my elementary years I frequently popped in to say hello. I will never forget one piece of advice she shared with me... she was opening a plastic bag with her teeth and told me never to do that because I’d ruin them! I’m not sure why this stuck with me but I will never forget it! The Keithley family loved her, she was an amazing teacher!

Nancy was a bright light to me when I began my teaching career. She was always at the ready with a funny comment, a word of advice, another funny comment... She guided many a child to success in kindergarten, cornerstone for the rest of their lives. Thanks for the laughs, Nancy. Your life mattered.

Nancy was a delight. Her personality and quick wit made her a joy to be around. I admired her as a fellow teacher. Anyone who could teach those “little people” as long as she did, is a very special individual indeed. My love to her precious family?

Nancy was nothing less than a wonderful teacher and friend. She taught all three of my girls in Kindergarten and I loved doing any job she needed done during those years! Nancy will be greatly missed but Tiffaney and Kelly, you should find comfort in knowing you took wonderful care of her. She loved you both so very much and often spoke of how much she appreciated all you did for her these past years. I believe she is dancing in heaven , free of pain, and reunited with her family and friends that went before her. May God comfort you in your grief.

I taught with Nancy many years at Willard North. She was a wonderful teacher and my son had her in kindergarten. She was a delight to know then and through the years after retirement when we stayed in touch enjoying many lunches and laughs together. She will be sorely missed! My sympathy to you, Tiffany and Kelly and your families. May God bless!

Like Ron, I too went to school with Nancy from elementary through high school and a “gang” of us went on to college at NMSU. I have years of wonderful memories of the times we spent together. The news of Nancy’s passing was heartbreaking. I had a great conversation with her at our reunion this past summer. God’s blessings to her children and grandchildren. May our friend Rest In Peace.

Nancy was a classmate of mine from elementary school through high school in Fairfield, Iowa. She lived two blocks from me, so we had a bond that extended from classmate to neighborhood friend. The FHS class of 1968 is very close. The loss of Nancy will be extremely difficult for us. RIP my friend.
