Nancy Sue Massey 76, Republic, Mo. passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019, in her home after a sudden illness. She was born in Bolivar, Mo. on January 16, 1943, to Lather and Etta M. (Pippin) Mitchell. She was a retired Teachers' Assistant for OCAC Head Start. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, and just enjoying the outdoors.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Troy Malicoat, three brothers: Lee Ray Mitchell, Charles Lester Mitchell, and Guy Wayne Mitchell. She is survived by her husband Luther Massey,a son, Kelly Eugene Malicoat and his wife, Elizabeth, two step-sons: James E. Massey and Tommy E. Masssey, a step-daughter: Tammie Marie O'Neail,and her husband, Calvin 7-grandchildren, 12-great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Jane Mitchell, 3-nephews and 2 nieces.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
