Shirley Sheckler Taber left a message on January 14, 2022:
Although our paths rarely crossed, I remember one time we met at Fern’s home when my mother, Geneva Boyd Sheckler, had driven to Springfield from Iowa & we had driven from Little Rock to pick her up. Nina was there & anxious to see me to see if I had White Hair! Yes, Nina, I have had white hair since my 20’s just like your mother, my mother and Fern. We were blessed with the Boyd family genes. Rest In Peace, Cousin Nina.

To all of Ms. Nina’s family My heart hurts for each of you on your loss. Nina was a very special lady and I cherish the memories I have of her. You could not be mad or sad around her, cause she’d find a way to laugh and her laugh was contagious. We spent the day her nephews Dennis and Jerry were called home condoling each other. She helped get me through my Dad’s death, and she shared some pretty good stories on him. May God Bless each of you, and wrap you tightly in his comforting arms, and guide you through these dark days ahead. Prayers for all of you. ~~~Tammy
