Norma A. Buckler, 85, of Springfield, MO died March 29, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Norma was born April 29, 1930 to the late Victor & Minnie (Staab) Lang in Hays, Kansas. Norma was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Hays, KS. She attended Fort Hays State University. She was a Credit Manager at St. John’s Hospital retiring in 2000. Norma was a member of the Mercy auxiliary. She married Edward Buckler June 25, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1983. She loved to travel, the horse races, her family, friends and her dogs.
Norma is survived by her brother, Vic Lang of Hays, KS and her sister, Cindy and her husband Richard Stillwagoner of Great Bend, KS. Also close friends Doris McCord and Ethel O’Neal.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with a prayer service. A Mass will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Springfield, MO 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
