Dear family, As I sit here contemplating what to write about Norma Jean my mind went back as a child to the many memories of her coming to visit us in Colorado and than later in life the many times I took my family to visit with her and Bill in Springfield. Norma Jean and I had a very close relationship going back as far as I can remember! Our last visit with her was in the nursing facility and she was so excited to meet my grandchildren. We had a wonderful visit which is now my last memory of her! I look forward to the day I get to visit with her again! All my love, Gary

Sister Norma was like an older sister to me. In some cases, like a Mom. She was so caring and accepting to others. She was a very talented pianist and artist, as well as a wise businesswoman.

Our prayers are with Norma Jeans family. She was our cousin but seemed more like an aunt. She was a precious lady who played the piano beautifully. She was an amazing artist, she did a portrait of my daughter and me. We loved to go to her house and visit. I know she is rejoicing in heaven with her husband and daughter but she will be missed. We loved her dearly.

I knew Sister Barnett from Church where she faithfully and with great expertise played the piano. She was a sweet, kind and gentle soul. Those of us who knew her are blessed. She is now enjoying her eternal reward in Heaven.
Donna Cole left a message on December 6, 2020:
I'm so sorry to learn of Norma's passing. However, she is well now, can run on the streets of gold, and is probably looking over any musical instruments in heaven. Heaven has another jewel for sure!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Peace and prayers for Norma Jean’s family. I can close my eyes and see her at the piano in church. She had such a wonderful gift and spirit. We still enjoy the painting she have us for our wedding gift. In one word I will remember her as faithful. Rest In Peace Norma Jean with your savior. Thank you for sharing your wonderful gifts with us.
