Oma Mae Berstler, age 75, of Strafford, MO, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 in Mercy Hospital. She was born October 10, 1940, in Porum, Ok, to Wiley and Elsie (Bratton) McAlister. She earned her Doctorate in Psychology, at Fresno State University, Fresno, CA. She enjoyed quilting, reading, and cooking and especially helping others.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son James Lewis, of Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by her husband Jim Berstler, her children: Sheryl Audiss, of Corona, CA. Christie Bolding and Jamie Berstler both of Springfield, and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at noon, Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening Nov. 12, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
