Pam was born in1949 in Springfield, MO to Charles and Jean Garrison. Pam was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. Pam was united in marriage to Gerald Cox on October 7, 1983 in Miami, OK. Pam worked various positions in the Walmart organization and retired in 2014. During this time she was also an Army wife and was able to travel the country and Europe with Gerald. She continued to be a homemaker after her retirement. She enjoyed watching “Young and Restless”, NASCAR, buying purses, and loved her animals Winston and Daisy Mae.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Gerald Cox; two sisters, Cindy Louton, of Kansas City, MO, Judy Garrison, of Springfield, MO; nieces and nephews, Scott Garrison (wife Mary), Todd Garrison, Rachael DeSalvo (husband Michael), and Ashley Wilson (husband Justin). Also she enjoyed being a great-aunt to Emilee (husband John), Lance, Dylan, Griffin and Liam.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jean Garrison and brother Johnny Garrison.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th at 1 p.m. and following will be a celebration of life at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Mask and social distancing are required. Graveside interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
