In Loving Memory
Patricia Conway, 73 received her wings to be with the Lord on May 11th, 2020.
She was born to Edward and Ruby Conway and is the eldest of 9 children.
Patricia is survived by her three sons Robert, Thomas, Christopher Maness, spouses, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Gary, Debbie, Tracy, James, along with their spouses and many nieces and nephews. Little Bit her baby and side kick.
Many know Patricia as Pat or family members would call her Tooter, Toot or Tootie Toot. She loved spending time with family, weekly calls, at get togethers or on the “girls” annual trip to Kimberling City Silver Leaf. Also, going up to St. Louis to visit her “BFF” to laugh, play cards and just spend quality time. “Aunt” Joanie and she have grown up together and were never apart either in person or by phone and are lifelong sisters. Many memories and loved filled life events were shared between them. Although she was opinionated and stubborn at times that was part of what made her so special.
Tooter was so proud to be an American and always praising what the American Flag stands for and our veterans. Also, an avid bingo player and always look forwarded to going to casinos, watching Jeopardy, St Louis Blues and Cardinal Baseball.
Music was an important part of her life and brought so many new adventures. She loved listening to John McDermott, which she had the pleasure of meeting and the Irish Tenors. Because of this, she traveled through the US and even Canada to attend shows and see the sights of many cities.
Patricia would often reminisce of when she and Thomas Maness were married, and the boys were younger. She would also bring up the fond memories she had as a child with her parents and family members. She never forgot family that had passed before her. Memories of brothers Roland and Tom, sister Brenda and her beautiful niece MacKenna. She knew when the time would come, and the good Lord would call upon her that she would be able to embrace them all with the Lord in Heaven.
Those we love don’t go away. They walk besides us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear.
Irish Blessing Prayer
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
