Patricia L. Shaw, 84, a resident of Oak Ridge, LA, formerly of Springfield, passed away Friday, May 1,2015, in Denison, TX. A retired first grade teacher for the Morehouse Parish Schools, she was also a member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she was very active in the Altar Guild.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah L. Shaw-Fowler and her husband Clint of Denison, TX. Mrs. Shaw is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Shaw and her mother, Verda Lawless.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at The Christ Episcopal Church, in Bastrup, LA. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Local visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, prior to graveside services.
