He is survived by his wife and best friend, Jane Ann Dooley, his children Valene Moreno, Yvonne (Steve) Ekberg, David (Alicia) Flaker, Jessica Epps, Steve Wilson, and Samantha Raver, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; his sister Dodie Sampson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Bobby McTaggart, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Chad was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lucille Dooley, his wife’s parents, Marvin and Louise Edwards, and a son Rodney Flaker.
He was a disabled veteran who loved his God, his family, and his flag; and faithfully and proudly served his country in Viet Nam.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the St. Joseph’s Anglican Church in Branson with Fr. Jim McTaggart officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 PM with full military honors in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
