I am grateful for the fond and fun memories that I have with Paul. We served together at FBC, Marvell Arkansas where he and his wife Teresa proved to be good friends and faithful workers in God's vineyard. Paul had an exuberance and zest for life that is contagious. He was optimistic to a fault and always ready and willing to help others with a word of encouragement or a good deed. Paul also had a deep and abiding faith in Christ and an unwavering love for His Word, the Bible. Paul and Teresa are both talented musicians and often blessed others by exercising their giftedness in the church. Paul, Teresa, and their children were considered a part of our family for the few years we were together, and we have kept in distant touch ever since. Paul was a large man with an even bigger heart! He was never pretentious but preferred to exercise his faith like a child who approaches his Heavenly Father with a sense of both reverence, trust, dependence, and innocence. Paul always wore a ready smile, kept a mischievous twinkle in his eye, and maintained a firm grip on his Lord. Paul was sometimes weak of body, but always strong in faith. He was ready to meet Jesus face to face. We who remain will miss him ...... for a little while. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace, my friend.
