Paul Eugene Henderson, of Springfield Missouri born to Thomas and Helen (Farley) Henderson, April 22, 1923, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 99 years of age. Paul was an insurance agent much of his life, he enjoyed Trout Fishing, Boy Scout Leading, RV Maps, and singing in the Church Choir. Paul was a member of Central Assembly of God Church and was also a Navy veteran who served during the Korean War and World War II. Those who have preceded Paul in death are, his parents, Thomas and Helen Henderson, brother Harold Henderson, and a brother-in-law Jim Higgins. Paul is survived by his wife Harriett of 29 years, sons Dave and his wife (Cathy) Henderson, and Tom Henderson, three grandchildren, Elton, Jared, and Nicole, sister Lois Higgins, niece Terri and her husband Don Miller, along with a host of other family and friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Central Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services are Monday, January 9, 2023, 1:00 pm at Maranatha Chapel off Norton Road in Springfield Missouri. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, 11:00 am.
