Pauline Medley, 93, Springfield, MO., passed away January 2, 2021, surrounded by close family. Pauline was born May 19, 1927, in Lebanon, MO., daughter of the late Edward and Emma Butler. Her brothers; Floyd Butler, Jack Butler, Robert Butler and sisters Nathy Franke, and Mary Jane Dallas preceded her in death. Her loving husband, Thomas E Medley passed away January 14, 2010. She worked many years as a dental assistant, grocery store meat wrapper and a distributer for Ambassador Card Co. After Pauline’s retirement she spent countless hours fishing, going to garage sales and auctions, watching wrestling, visiting casinos and playing country music with friends and family. Pauline was saved and baptized at a young age and enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir. Pauline is survived by two devoted daughters, Lenora Pauline Wingo, and her husband Frank of Springfield, MO. and Pamela Ann Matney and her husband Dennis Matney, of Strafford, MO.; seven grandchildren, Mark, Tami, Tamra, Brandon, Nathan, Emily, and very special Granddaughter Tona Wingo who was her caregiver the last two years of her life. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren. Pauline will be missed by a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, January 8, 2021. Private graveside services will be at a later date.
