Peggy Charlene Pollinger
Born: September 27, 1946.
Died: October 20, 2020
Peggy has always been the most loving woman who was devoted to her family and her Lord, Jesus. We met at church, introduced by her cousin. We started going to youth rallies and then dating. During this time, her faith was evident in all she did. After 3 years, we prayed and felt that it was God’s will to be married. She was very active in the church, teaching small children in Sunday school, working as church secretary, and was active in the church’s women’s group. During this time we found that we could not have children. She opened her heart to the adoption of our daughter, Kimberley, and loved her more than anyone. She dedicated Kim to the Lord to take care of and guide her always. She was them a full time homemaker taking care of things while I was working overseas. During this she still took time for the Lord’s work. As time passed, she overcame physical trials including cancer, extreme cellulitis, leg amputation and many hospital visits. Through it all she was guided by her faith in our Lord. No matter what happened, she was a friend to all she met with a smile that was unforgettable. She loved prayer by her as and for her. On October 20, 2020, our God decided her pain was over and took her home in her sleep. She was survived by our daughter Kimberley Joy Davis, husband Hank and brothers William Angel and Don Angel. Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6 at 1:00 pm at Greenlawn East with internment at a later date.
