Peggy Jean Lister, 82, Springfield, MO. passed away March 28, 2021. She was born in Tennessee Ridge, TN. on February 8, 1939, to John and Mary (Buchanan) Warden. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed her birds, flowers, and gardening. Her most favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren all whom she loved very much.
Peggy was preceded in death by her three sons: Joey, Rick, and Randy, a granddaughter, Stephanie, a sister, Diann, a brother, Samuel and her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Bill Lister, whom she married on March 30, 1973, her seven children: Tammy Lenski, Lisa Merrill, Karen Walker, Jim Moore, Bill Moore, Mary Ramos, and Robert Lister. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, her brothers: David and Wayne Warden, and her sisters: Sylvia Danzer, Frances Danzer, Betty Teske, and Kathy Campbell.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from Noon till 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
